Amazing buildings around Place du Théâtre, Lille

On the Place du Théâtre in Lille we find the Chambre of Commerce with a Belfry. It is an amazing building completed in 1921 in the Neo Flemish style. We are from Flanders, it is really close to Lille but we have never heard of this style. But ok, we are no specialists. We must admit these flandrians have style, even in France. The other two very beautiful buidlings viewed from on this square are the Opera and the Carlton Hotel.

Op het Place du Théâtre in Lille vinden we de Kamer van Koophandel met zijn belfort. Dit is een ongelooflijk gebouw dat werd voltooid in 1921 in de Neo Vlaamse stijl. Wij zijn van Vlaanderen en dat is echt zeer dicht bij Lille maar we hebben nog nooit van deze stijl gehoord. Maar ok, wij zijn dan ook geen specialisten. We moeten toegeven, de Vlamingen hebben stijl, zelfs in Frankrijk. De andere twee mooie gebouwen die we zien van op dit plein zijn het Opera gebouw en het beroemde Carlton Hotel.
