Oasis of the Seas, the largest Cruise schip in the world

When arriving at Port Everglades, we recognised one of the Cruise Ships in the port. This is very strange because we have never been on a cruise. The ship in questions is the newest vessel of RoyalCaribbean and is called “Oasis of the Seas”. It is the biggest Cruise ship in the world and was first used in 2009. It has a capacity of 5.400 passengers and 2.165 crew members. It is a small city at sea. We recognised it because the back of the ship is open, and has an amphitheatre in open air. It looks very impressive.

Wanneer we aankwamen in Port Everglades herkenden we één van de Cruise schepen. Dit is zeer raar, daar wij nog nooit op Cruise zijn geweest. Het schip in kwestie is het nieuwste vaartuig van RoyalCaribbean en noemt “Oasis of the Seas”. Dit is het grootste Cruise schip ter wereld en werd voor het eerst in gebruik genomen in 2009. Het heeft een capaciteit van 5.400 passagiers en 2.165 bemanningsleden. Het is een kleine stad op zee. We herkenden het daar de achterzijde van het schip open is, en wordt gebruikt als een openlucht theater. Het ziet er zeer indrukwekkend uit.
